Area of Expertise
If you are a victim of domestic violence or if you are being threatened physically or mentally by another we will give you the legal support you need to obtain the necessary court order which will protect you from the offender. Depending on the circumstances the court can grant one of the following:
Safety Order
This bars the offender from any further abusive acts. If the victim and offender are living together it does not bar the person from the home.
Barring Order
This bars the offender from the home and from any further abusive acts.
Protection Order
This is a temporary/interim order granted until the full hearing of the actual safety order application.
Intern Order
Interim Barring Order
This is a temporary barring order granted until the full hearing of the actual barring order application.
